Worship Times

Sunday Worship: 9 am, worship includes Holy Communion. Gluten-free and non-alcoholic options are available.

Lenten Worship:

  • Ash Wednesday: 7:15 pm, full service with distribution of ashes and holy communion. Community potluck dinner at 6:15 pm. All are welcome.

Holy Week:

  • Palm/Passion Sunday: 9:40 am. We begin by joining with other neighborhood churches to bless our palms. We then return to St. Stephen's for a worship service at 10 am featuring the reading of the Passion Story of Christ's entry into Jerusalem and death on the cross.

  • Holy (Maundy) Thursday: 7:15 pm. This service begins The Triduum, three days of worship honoring the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Thursday we commemorate Christ's instruction to go into the world and make disciples.

  • Good Friday: 7:15 pm. At this service, we focus on the passion and death of Christ.

  • Easter Vigil: starting time varies with sunset. This is the first official celebration of Easter. The service is a wonderful reminder of the history of God's people as we journey through the stories of the creation, the flood, and the prophets. Worship culminates with a celebration of our baptism into Christ and an Easter celebration of the resurrection of Christ.

Christmas:

  • Christmas Eve: 7 pm. This service celebrates the birth of Jesus through Christmas carols and readings. The service contains the singing of Silent Night by candlelight.
