Mid-week Service

Once upon a time, the church offered what is called daily prayer. Morning, noon, and evening all had services called “the Divine Office.” While this tradition has slipped away for much of the mainline churches, our Prayer Book (the ELW) has restored these traditional services. We will have the opportunity to participate in Compline. Compline is a service of Evening Prayer usually said before bedtime - a devotion that I encourage you to use at home every night. Please click here to follow along. Pastor Jason will announce in the video which form to use.

Lutheran Church Wilmington

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA, we believe that the gospel is God's gift to all people, shared unconditionally and without regard to race, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, socio-economic or family status, age, physical or mental abilities, outward appearance, or religious affiliation. We seek racial equality and justice. In this way, we live into the truth written in Ephesians (2:14)—that Christ breaks down the dividing walls between us and makes us one.
