Christian Education

Adult Christian Education, 8:30 am Sundays

Join us on Sunday mornings as we experience the gospel of Luke, with its vivid storytelling and wealth of parables. We're hearing this gospel in Sunday worship this year. You're invited to enrich that worship as we gather together to explore the themes and message of this spirit-filled book!

Wednesday Bible study, 11 am Wednesdays

1 Kings is the focus of our small group Bible study, gathering each Wednesday at 11 am in the Community Room of Lincoln Towers. Pastor Jason leads as we read together and discuss this book.

It’s a story of God’s people set a thousand years before Jesus’ birth. It’s an adventure story, a war story, and a story of relationships between the generations. It’s a story about politics, too, as God’s people discern how to govern themselves and to order their life together. It’s a story of people distant in time and culture, and yet, like us, people who are blessed and broken, saints and sinners.

We meet in the lobby a little before 11 am, and then go to the second floor Community Room. If no one is there when you arrive, dial 001 and someone from the office will let you in.

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA, we believe that the gospel is God's gift to all people, shared unconditionally and without regard to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic or family status, age, physical or mental abilities, outward appearance, or religious affiliation. We seek to live the truth written in Ephesians that Christ breaks down the dividing walls between us and makes us one.
